History
Faith Home Health, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Celina Okpaleke, a Physician Assistant. I opened this agency based on my first hand experiences with patients that were in dire need of home health, but for various reasons such as; location of residence, lack of insurance, or lack of knowledge of services, were often left by the wayside. As a physician assistant, working in a rural health care setting, I diagnosed and prescribed this vital treatment, but some patients had little or no success in obtaining quality home care. Due to these reasons, I decided to open a home health agency to service all. Any patient that comes through Faith must get the best quality care that they deserve, and for ten years, we have made a lot of difference in the communities we service.
We are a certified Medicare & Medicaid home health agency. We currently cover a thirteen county geographical service area from central to north Florida. Services provided include skilled nursing services, physical, speech and occupational therapies, medical social services, home health aide, and durable medical equipment. We provide care ranging from hi-tech, life sustaining, to basic activities of daily living, pediatric to geriatrics. We also have a pharmacy that delivers prescribed medications free of charge to patients in their homes through our sister company.
In 1998, I formed a non-profit organization, We Care Services, Inc. This organization was formed to close the gaps of those areas that are not otherwise covered by traditional government funds, and also fund services for those that are in need, but have no funding source. Our service is especially beneficial to the elderly that live alone and can't do much on their own.
In 2005 Faith Pharmacy, Inc. was opened in response to those who could not get to a pharmacy or have funds to pay for delivery. We have free delivery in the counties of Sarasota, Manatee, Pinellas, Hillsborough, as well as mail order. We cover most insurances and supply all DME (Durable Medical Equipment).
The key components for a patient to return to their normal lifestyle as soon as possible are:
